Fuzzy control is one of the modern intelligent control methods, it is base on the fuzzy theory, by using the measured data or engineering experience to sum up a series of nonobjective fuzzy rules. These rules can be used by the control computer, so the computer can make the accurate decision for controlled systems. Because it has a lot of merits like it is not dependent on the controlled objects' exact mathematical models, the fuzzy control has a good application prospect in today's industrial production.Although fuzzy control has many advantages, it also has some deficiencies which need to be improved. In this dissertation, two improved control plans are brought forward which based on the conventional fuzzy control and combined with the specific application environment of a dual closed loop controller of dc motor system. By studying the fuzzy control algorithm's own characteristics and the specific controlled object's applied feature, the dissertation designs two different improved fuzzy control algorithms from two different perspectives.This dissertation firstly goes into particulars of the design of two different improved fuzzy control algorithms, it also uses MATLAB to make some simulated experiments. The results show that the two different improved methods take evident effect to control systems. Then, the dissertation combines these two methods into a new method which called "piecewise fuzzy PID control". At last, the dissertation designs the control circuit board and programs the improved control algorithm.
