Nowadays, under the boosting development of enterprise datacenter, the headers of IT companies likely to extend their own products to be the standard of the whole industry. Sure, under this background, virtualization appears once again with its features of sharing hardware resources, lower cost of maintenance, fault tolerance and safety. Sure, under this background, virtualization technology appears to board the stage of history with its features of sharing re-sources, lower cost of maintenance, fault tolerance and safety. When the datacenters extend their scale of cluster management, how to do the VM creating and provisioning with the least time and best quality to meet the various users’ requests, has been a problem for a long time.To solve the problem well, we design and accomplish a whole management system used for VM provisioning for tasks in asymmetric virtualized cluster from the prototype of VM management system in the classical environment with the inspiration of cloud computing.We choose Qt as our development platform and tool for the features of multiple operat-ing system support and use Xen on Ubuntu Linux to finish the underlying management.We follow the software engineering development flowchart and code standard of enter-prise level strictly. The asymmetric virtualized cluster finish the VM task provisioning under the mode of ’Main Node-Sub Node’ and we divide the whole system into three parts, Con-sole-UI, Main Node and Collection Part. Console-UI is used for system administrator to mon-itor the status of whole cluster and system admin use it to monitor the domains in cluster manually when necessary. Main Node, which is installed on the main node of cluster, is used for do the VM provisioning for users and maintaining the load balance between nodes in cluster automatically. Also, Main Node does the transferring of command and data resources between Console-UI and Collection Part. The Collection Part is the end of system architecture and it is used for the specific process of command executing.System architecture definition, command design, execution, VM provisioning, load bal-ance controller and system log writer, all of these parts get together to make the system available, with the well coordination of these parts, we can do the VM provisioning for tasks in asymmetric virtualized cluster well.
