With the progress of the human civilization and the development of society and economy,the living environment is increasingly at a high demand,which are embodied in housing,such as from being satisfied with the ownership of the house to pursuing the architectural aesthertics; and then to making the technology into the household life—he smart home emerges.Obviously the modern computer technology, communications technology and automation control technology provides the development foundation for this process.According to the characteristics of the residential in domestic urban area,this paper uses a hierarchical centrailized control program,and reaserches the method to realize the smart home system under the program.Firstly, the paper described the current situation of the development of the domestic and foreign smart home, and then the research significance and overall design of this subject are given. In the overall design of this subject, the function of the realization and the choice of the ways of remote monitoring are choosed according to the analysis of the demand of the current market.The correct and stable hardware and software platforms are the basises to ensure the system’s regular and reliable operation. Secondly, the paper makes the detailed design of the hardware for the client system, including Flash and SDRAM interface circuit, serial interface circuit, Ethernet interface circuit, CMOS camera circuit, expansion board circuit and the mechanical structure of the holder. Then the paper makes a step by step instruction for the establishment of the client software platform, including Bootloader transplantation, the kernel transplantation, the root file system production and Qt transplantation.In this smart home system, this paper focuses on the design of a network messaging module and video monitoring module. In the video monitoring module, this paper makes a deeply research on the video acquisition process under the V4L2and the YUV image formats and the process of it convets into the RGB format, and puts forward the segmentation transmission algorithm. Then the detailed design of the remote control program is given.The paper finally summarizes the full content, and analyzes the insufficiency and the immensity of the subject.
