Wireless sensor networks, which integrate the technologies of wireless communication, network and embedded computing, can be real-time acquiring and processing the target information and have a very large application, It is an emerging hot technology, and has been concerned on all over the word, Widely used in industrial control, healthcare, intelligent transportation and many other fields, give great convenience to people’s living and production, as a basic part of the wireless sensor networks, wireless sensor network node consists of power management module, processor module, sensor module and wireless communication module.With the expansion of the sensor network technology and the development of the application field, a higher demand is request to the sensor node, especially recently in the application of the smart grid, sensor networks will reach tens of thousands of nodes, sensor networks will be moving towards IPv6agreement, Processing power and storage capacity of traditional sensor nodes obviously can not meet the requirements, then it is necessary to design a storage capacity, communication distance, power consumption and low-cost node.This thesis is based on analysis of6LoWPAN protocol, use the laboratory’s existing research base, raise a design scheme of the a wireless sensor network node to meet the6LoWPAN technical requirements, key to optimized the RF circuits of the wireless communication module.This paper first briefly describes the wireless sensor networks and knowledge of the agreement, and then introduced a few typical wireless sensor network node at home and abroad, on this basis, designed a wireless sensor network node based on the ATmega1280, through the ADS software, simulate and analyze the communication module circuit and designed a inverted-F antenna, given the reference value of the components and the size of the antenna, in order to grasp the law of the impact of external factors for the antenna, the paper also analyzes the PCB board thickness and medium on the performance of the antenna, in order to verify the correctness of the simulation, in the end of this paper tested the performance of the actual design of the circuit and antenna with vector network analysis instrument and spectrum analyzer.
