Since1999, IPTV has been rapid development. Related institutions of research and associations have been established. IPTV has become a hot point of study and development. The scope of IPTV using is continuing to expand. The area of using is more and more widely from home, company and public places to High-star Hotel service. In terms of functionality, IPTV dose not only see live TV, watch VOD programs through the network, but also go shopping, play games, book tickets and other functions. With the development of China’s tourism industry, the high-star hotel IPTV is more and more attention. China National Tourism Administration assesses hotel, according to Network, computer management system, VOD and others, and the score increase48score from8to56.The functions of high-star hotel IPTV information system continue to increase, but the old high-star hotel IPTV architecture does not take into account layers and interface. So it is difficult to modify and maintain. If you modify a module of function, you must modify a lot of modules. In order to solve this problem, the company decided to abandon the old architecture and design new high-star hotel IPTV architecture. The new IPTV architecture will be hierarchy and independent. The same type of function modules set into a layer. Every layer has several interfaces. Two layers can communicate through interface. Later, if you want to add a function in high-star IPTV information system, you just develop a module, and then through the interface to join the functional module. The developers do not care about other modules information. Research and design a reasonable high star IPTV architecture is a primary task of this paper.Secondly, in this paper, RTSP (the Real Time Streaming Protocol) protocol to do a detailed study and elaboration. On the basis of the VLC Media Player, develop application of RTSP protocol with C and C++language. Video "fast forward" has four ways, select one of the most appropriate the "fast forward" way with C language to develop the client program.Thirdly, Design encryption and authentication strategies. Analyze the3DES encryption algorithm. The3DES encryption algorithm is applied to high-star hotel in the IPTV architecture. Develop the3DES encryption algorithm with Action script3.0languages.Finally, develop a complete system based on the new high-star hotel. The International Hotel is installed the new high-star hotel IPTV information system. Satisfaction reached95%in the three-month that show high-star hotel IPTV architecture is reasonable. Lately, the new high-star IPTV architecture will be widely used.
