With the rapid development of computer science and t technology, computer walks intoall ways of our life, every walk of life steps into informationization one after the other.Pharmacy information system is the application of communication technology, computertechnology and management science in the pharmacy information management. At present,most drug administration of pharmacies is finished by hand. This way is low efficiency andhigh rate of error. It is a serious impediment to the development of the pharmacy industry.Therefore, the optimize and design of pharmacy information system have important practicalsignificance of improving the work efficiency of the pharmacy.Pharmacy management informationization is an important part of Medical treatmentinformationization, my design aims at small pharmacy in society, including the managementof drug in, drug checking, drug out and so on. Pharmacy management system mainly has twofunctions: Drug management: drug in, drug out, drug checking, drug statistics; Usermanagement:user login, password modifying, role management,user adding, user deleting.Pharmacy management system can unify the code and price of the drug in the pharmacy. Theadministrator of the pharmacy can acquire all information of the pharmacy in time, enhancethe drug management. in this way to manage the pharmacy.First, we did requirement analysis of the pharmacy management system, and design thefunction of each module. Taking into account the style of user interface, we design a moresimple interface. The system is on the Windows XP platform, using SQL Server2000database. The design of pharmacy management system is based on C/S structure. We usePowerBuilder6.0as the design tool and use ADO to connect the database. At the design stage,we complete the module segmentation and object creation. In the phase of systemimplementation and testing, we rule out systemic deficiencies, improve the reliability ofsystem operation and the system fault tolerance.Optimizing and designing the pharmacy management system, the pharmacy managementsystem designed in this paper is simple operation. It greatly improves the pharmaceuticalsentering the library, sorting efficiency and reduces the error rate in the medicines management.And the amount of labor of pharmacy staff is reduced, the quality of pharmacy services isimproved. In this paper, our pharmacy management system achieves the operations ofchanging drug, querying, storage and other operations. But comparing with large-scale pharmacy information management system, our system has many defects, and need thecontinuous improvement in technology and other aspects.
