The mine environment evaluation is playing increasingly a vital part in the mining development, so the tendency has promoted the rapid development of application software based on GIS platform developed in this field. In order to survey a number of resources, therefore, a large number of the mine environment reports are needed to submit mine environmental assessment, which is an important part in the exploration report, it is necessary to make full use of advanced IT tools to produce a comprehensive evaluation system based on GIS mining environment system for promoting the mine scale, intensive and scientific development.The system has been designed and completed based on the detailed analysis of the system, around the system Visual Studio2005development environment. The paper first describes the background and significance of the project, then requirements analysis, system functional model has been introduced, using the C#language development, client/server structure to develop GIS-based spatial data processing capabilities, ArcGIS Engine components for secondary development provides users with a mine environment evaluation system; registered in the relevant departments for effective management; management of raster files and feature file; creating a buffer zone; the function of moving layer and deleting layer; querying the raster file; opening multiple bands raster file; implementation raster file of normalized difference vegetation index conversion; to achieve feature file format based on the creation of different types of point file buffer; The function of resample of the raster file; the use of mathematical models, so mine environmental assessment more scientific and more convenient.The operation of the system is available for the user to improve efficiency, reduce costs.
