The aircraft in the high-speed flight collides with birds, which is known as "bird collision"."Bird collision "is an international problem, which has long puzzled the aviation industry and threatened aero safety. In particular, with the rapid development of the aviation industry in recent years, the bird collision problem has been increasingly serious.In order to prevent and reduce the bird collision incidents, internal airports are still generally using audio bird repellents which were introduced in late1990s and ultrasonic bird repellents which were introduced after2000. Audio and ultrasound are used to intimidate the birds, which indeed plays a positive role to improve the clearance level of the airport runway. However, these facilities are all one-on-one single point control, which are not managed and monitored in a centralized network, to reach all airspace at all times to drive the effect of the bird, resulting in low efficiency of the bird. Therefore, it is the time to build an efficient and efficient bird repellent network. What is more, the research prospect is bright.The paper firstly introduces the concept and development status of the wireless sensor network. The concept on wireless sensor network architecture and communication protocol are described. The characteristics of the wireless sensor network routing protocols and key technologies are analyzed. Several wireless sensor network protocols which can be applied to the project network are analyzed and discussed. Based on this basis, it is used for airport wireless sensor networks that two types of network model topology are designed. The newest Opnet network simulation software package is used for the simulation of the network topology and protocol. A better network model is established by analyzing the performance of network throughput, access channel road delay and utilization. Finally, the hardware network system is built in the lab. a simulated airport bird repellent network topology is established to analyze and research by testing the accuracy and reliability of the data packet transmission. The simulation and imitation of the airport wireless bird repellent network both show that the wireless sensor bird repellent network designed in this paper can be used in the airport environment to achieve the expectation that repelling birds in large airspace and long time.
