Study Of Educational Management Decision Support System Based On Data Mining Technology

With the development of computer technology, there has been in-depth study about theapplication of decision support based on the database and data mining in the fields of telecom,finance, marketing, quality analysis, biology gene engineering, etc. But it isn’t applied widely inthe college teaching management.In order to improve the quality of personal training, in recent years, colleges and universitiesregarding the "the quality of teaching and teaching reform project" as the starting point, carry outteaching and management reform and explore the new talent cultivation mode one after another.In this context, the demands of "scientific management, scientific decisions" in the process of theteaching management are more and more prominent. But, at present, most of the educationalmanagement systems in universities just stay in the OLTP level, yet can’t achieve the multi-angle,multi-level analysis and mining to educational management data, and lack comprehensiveanalysis and decision support capabilities. Therefore, data mining used in the universities’educational management system, and achieving decision support has great applicationsignificance.This essay thoroughly probe into the database and data mining technology. It summarizestheir relative theories and methods; it introduces association rule mining in data mining detailed,expounds the association rule mining’s concept and quality; it resolves classical association rulesmining Apriori algorithm, analyses this algorithm’s disadvantages and improvement ways. It putsforward modified Apriori algorithm which based on the 0-1 matrix multiplication, verities theaccuracy of the algorithm, assesses algorithm’s efficiency and points out the further perfectproblems.On this basis, during the process of the association rules used in teaching management indecision-making , using the 0-1 matrix multiplication of improved Apriori algorithm, the essayselects the "basic data on teachers and teaching quality assessment data" for the analysis of mining. By mining the results of teachers’basic information and teaching quality, it finds out therelationship between them two, and according to the mining results, puts forward the decisionsupport valuable views and suggestion about the teachers’ construction and teaching management.
