In recent years, the development of Micro-blog is very fast. In our country, the number of users is growing explosively. The first half of 2011, the new users reached 1.32 billion; the growth rate reached 208.9%. A large number of users mean the attention resource, it has a huge potential business opportunities. Lots of enterprises were aware of this and registered the micro-blog.But enterprises’micro-blog are just beginning to develop and not mature. For enterprises, they need to know the present situation of the micro-blog and its characteristics, and then they can make the suitable development of countermeasures. Therefore, the research on the characteristics of enterprises’micro-blog has a strong practical significance.This study reported the definition and the development of micro-blog of enterprise, the elements of the communication process, the development mode and function of micro-blog, the current improper situation and the countermeasures. The first chapter pointed out the research background and significance, as well as the research methods and conclusions. The literature review is the summary report of the domestic research status and main results. The second chapter focuses on the concept of the micro-blog of enterprise, classification and development history. The third chapter analyzed the communication process of the micro-blog of enterprise-disseminators, content, media, audiences and the results of dissemination. Then, paper analyzed the development mode of micro-blog and the function mode of micro-blog. The forth chapter put forward the significance of micro-blog of enterprises, which includes the propagation of the culture of enterprises and the Marketing of enterprises and analyzed the current improper situation of micro-blog, when tentatively put forward some countermeasures. The last chapter reviewed the main content of this paper. In this paper, the author adopted many research methods, like Questionnaire Survey, Interview and Comparative analysis. Through the past related research, the dissertation proposed following conclusions:1. The micro-blog of enterprise is a new social media, which can be used in internal and external communication. This media is open and comprehensive, the dissemination of information based on the business objectives of enterprise.2. The communicator of enterprise’s micro-blog is economic organization, which profit from establishing micro-blog. The micro-blog of enterprise is mainly used to provide information services. It hides its Marketing purpose. The language of it is vivid and caring. For enterprises, the micro-blog is simple and cost-effective. And the most important thing is this media has a powerful influence.3. The current improper situations of enterprises’ micro-blog include not enough attention, low innovation ability, poor target, ignoring customers and low quality. In order to make the micro-blog play a good role, enterprises must take micro-blog seriously. To make staff learn the necessary knowledge about micro-blog. To design information elaborately makes sure the quality of information and so on.
