With the rapid development of economy and society, the trend of economic globalization is strengthened day by day, and as an advanced organization and management concepts, modern logistics is widely considered to be an important profit source of enterprise except lower material consumption, higher labor productivity. Modern logistics plays an important role in the national economy. Development of information technology promotes the process of logistics informationize, and logistics highly depends on large amounts of data, information collection, analysis, processing and timely updates. Warehouse management as an important part of the logistics management urgently need manage warehouse and warehouse storage of materials scientifically by the support of modern science and technology, and plans, optimizes and executes the warehouse operations rationally. Then improve the efficiency of warehouse operations, reduce storage costs.Logistics force in this thesis belongs to the Chinese People’s Liberation Army General Logistics Department. The function of the warehouse in the troops is weapons parts storage and transshipment. Because singleness, poor extensibility is main shortcoming in existing warehouse system, the WMS must be improved to meet the increase number of the business and the warehouse goods. Rich functional and efficient operation of the system is key faction of warehouse management system design and implementation of the force.This thesis is based on existing business of the logistics forces stereo warehouse. By researching the existing warehouse facilities, storage situation, business process, combining with current facilities of using and considering the future growth of business, a new warehouse management system is designed and implemented, which have powerful function, good immediacy, security, interaction. Implementation of the project will play an important role in improving the operational efficiency of the logistics force, shortening of the working time and work intensity, a real-time inventory management.Based on the main business of warehouse management system, the thesis systematically elaborated on the design and implementation of warehouse management system. And relative background, current status and significance of warehouse management system are explained.2. Design and optimization of the warehouse business processes.3. The system includes the basic data maintenance, receiving, inventory management, shipping management, function nodes is connected in a tree structure, visually demonstrate the overall business links and levels of warehouse management system, reflecting the advantages of integrated, efficient and systematic management.5.
