Design And Implementation For Consistency Test Tool Of DSRC Standard Based On ETC

With rapid development of the highway construction, as the important technical of relieving the traffic congestion and improving the ability of transportation, the ETC, which based on DSRC, has been paid widely public attention and became hot spots of research of ITS gradually. As present the whole function of OBU has been influenced by temperature and component selections in ETC. If the parameters of OBUs have big differences, the reliability could hardly be assured. Therefore, in order to improve the product quality and service level and minimize the failure, not only we need to unify the technical standard, but need the consistency testing and interoperability testing through a standard test environment to verify the products whether can conform the state standards, industry standards and enterprise standards as well.After Study the DSRC standard, this paper categorized and summarized the key points of the protocol consistency testing which include data-link layer, application layer and equipment application layer and developed the protocol consistency test tool based on the TTCN-3 testing platform. The specific work includes development of adapter and codec module, design of test suit structure, programming of test cases, etc. In addition, for the convenience of test, this paper also developed a friendly user interface and a new log system. The tester just choices and executes test cases through the UI according to the test statement and check the details of results, which can effectively reduce the operating error.
