With the rapid growth of Internet technology, e-commerce websites have higher performance requirements. The manual method of Jingdong Mall has been unable to optimize a large number of webpages. The quality of optimization is also difficult to ensure that has seriously hampered the improvement of website user experience. Currently the optimization is based on manual work, it is so hard to take into account the optimization for each page, and optimization often does not follow the standard. It really affected the work efficiency. Therefore, development team of Jingdong Mall has an urgent requirement to establish a dynamic optimization system to improve the web site performance. The system is able to liberate the front-end web developers from lots of duplicate works. It also makes page optimization orderly.First of all, the status and problems of website performance optimization are analyzed in this paper, and the necessity of HttpModule-based dynamic optimization system for website performance development is illustrated. Next, the requirements of website performance optimization are analyzed, and all the components which need to optimize are discussed, optimization methods and the major processes are determined. Then, the architecture of HttpModule-based dynamic optimization system for website performance is built using a modular system. HTTP context extractor and parser are designed in details. The realization of the optimization for HTML, JavaScript, CSS and image in HTTP protocol using compression and confusion algorithms is analyzed in detail. Finally, the practical application of the system is summarized.
