Along with the computer technology and network technology to traditionalphotovoltaic technologies the penetration of the printing industry , the printingindustry digital is developing to the direction of network automation andsystematic. In order to speed up the establishment of national key drug safetytracing system, strengthening drug quality safety supervising, ensure that thepublic safe drug use. The state food and drug administration decision, in thespecial drug monitoring information based on the network, further strengthendrug electronic monitoring, perfect drug identification system, to create aunified national drug supervision and management of the electronic network,Classification of drugs enforcement partial to electronic supervision, So onprinting and packaging detection set the new request.This paper analyzes the bar code automatic detection system at homeand abroad and the development status and trends, simple introduced the barcode system code principle, mainly focusing on the orientation of the area tobar code which Use the image processing、the binarization of bar code image、the application of the BP neural network algorithm in the barcode image leveldetermine ,research and design a bar code online testing prototype system.Paper finally, according to the drug packaging enterprise the bottles ofpackaging sample chapter the line experiment, the description of the wholeoperation flow chart of the software , and through the experimental results toget the feasibility of the algorithm. Given the results of each module which wasobtained by simulation, including simulation results of bar code sample imageafter the article mentioned binarization algorithm, the simulation results ofbarcode regional rapid localization algorithm ,the simulation results of the barcode optical level.
