Ball grid displacement measurement technology which is used to achieve precise measurementof displacement space is widely used in the machining area around the world. This thesis isdesigned to develop the high-precision displacement measurement system basing on Ball gridsensor through the research on ball grid technology, and makes experiments to verify the dataaccuracy by analyzing the datas, stability and repeatability of measuring to achieve high-precisiondisplacement measurement under the motion state finally.This paper is mainly divided into the following sections:1.In the first part, the current displacement meaurement technology is introduced first, then thegoal and significance of research on the displacement measurement technology basing on Ball gridsensor is concluded. Research status of displacement measurement technology basing on Ball gridsensor in domestic and abroad are described.2.This paper describes structure, characteristics and applications of Ball grid sensor and goesinto the details of the principle of ball grid sensor technology by analyzing the Electromagneticinduction.3.This paper describes the overall structure of the system, and introduces the function andimplementation of each module.The key technology Phase signal demodulation technique which isthe most difficult and critical technology of the system is made for a detailed description.4.According to the system functional requirements and principles of Ball grid sensortechnology, this paper introduces overall structure of the hardware, and describes function andimplementation of the circuits. The figure of the controller STM32F103 were introduced. Finally,various parts of the circuits were described in detail, including the function of the circuit, designideas and circuit diagrams, etc.5.This paper describes the software development environment and STM32 firmware library,then put forward the overall steps of software development, software components and design ideas.The function of each software module and the specific implementation is introduced.6.Finally, this paper describes the experiment of the displacement measuring system in thelaboratory. The measurement datas are processed and analysed, The experiment confirms that thedevelopment of displacement measurement system basing on ball grid sensor has met the functionalrequirements and achieved the design goal. The paper concludes with a summary of all work donein the subject and puts forward the improvement which can be made in the future.
