The paper through collecting AE generated in the process of processing machineryand equipment real-timely analysis and process these signals. In this way, system canmake mechanical malfunction diagnosis and real-time monitoring the operating statusof machinery and equipment. Design a real-time high-speed AE acquisition systembased on DSP and USB.This paper first introduced the application of principles based on the DSP and USBhigh-speed data acquisition system and designed the structural framework of the systemaccording to the system requirements and functional. It included mainly the signalacquisition module, the analysis processing module, data transfer module, display andmemory modules and other modules. According to the technical characteristics of eachmodule, proposed corresponding the functional requirementsOn the hardware side, the paper adopted modular design and designed hardwarecircuit of the signal acquisition module, analysis and processing module, the datatransmission module. Acquisition module included acoustic emission sensors,preamplifier, main amplifier, AD converter;At analytical processing module adoptsDSP-core processors and designed external circuit, included the power supply, clock,reset, the JTAG interface and the external memory circuit. Transmission module is keyinterface part of the whole system and the host PC. USB transmission chip as the core,through the USB2.0protocol achieved analysis processing of data from the DSP anduploaded to the host PC via USB.On the software side, the paper designed mainly the DSP program, the USBfirmware and driver software, the application software. DSP program introduced theDSP development environment, DSP initialization, signal filtering, transform the scaleand the characteristic information extraction.The paper also described the framework ofthe USB firmware and driver model, and user application design process.According to the system characteristics, the paper analysis the reasons for thesystem interfere,put forward the corresponding anti-jamming technology and describesdetailly the design of the hardware and software anti-jamming technology.Finally, the paper mentioned monitor test of the grinding acoustic emissionacquisition system. It selected the CNC grinding system as a test platform, through thegrinding monitoring test confirmed the feasibility of AE signals for monitoring grinding state. And monitor the grinding state of AE ring count and RMS threshold valuedetermined based on test results.
