The signal processing systems designed on DSP-chips have become the mainsolution in fields of signal processing applications. Also the main transferring linebased on USB2.0 agreement's structure has become the main method of connectionbetween computer and peripheral. This topic unifies both DSP technology and theUSB2.0 technology's merits to develope a signal processing system by using TexasCorporation's TMS320VC5402 chip as digital signal processing core and usingCypress Corporation's CY7C68013 USB2.0 chip as transmission core. The present paper first introduces the overall system's the hardwares and thecorresponding connection among the components, fully considering the applicationscope of this system to choose the proper components, moreover fully consideringthe system's existing-application need and the expanding-application need. Then itintroduces the USB2.0 main line technology, emphatically focusing on USB2.0agreement, which has built the foundation for the system software development. Then it introduces the overall system software development that is mainly composedby the DSP host disposal procedure and the USB development procedure (IncludingUSB firmware procedure, the main communication procedure between USB chipand DSP chip, USB driver procedure.) Finally in detail introduces the overallsystem's development and debug processing. This topic pays great attention to the system's existing-application in the hard-ware design aspect, and also fully considers its' expanding-application. Many com-ponent connections are innovate to comply the above needs; It has set a good founda-tion for the software design by carefully reading the USB2.0 development agree-ment. It uses the most advanced development software of big corperations, whichhas reduced the development difficulty of the software design. Using theDSP/BIOS's task priority dispatch, it has developed a set of software that is fit forthe multi-duties data-gathering and transmission tasks.
