A new kind of data acquisition system for INMARSAT satellite receiver is designed in this thesis,which is based on highspeed Universal Serial Bus (USB2.0) technology with satelliter data acquisition,data analysis,data processing and display together.The advanced performance of USB with high-speed,HotPlug In,Plug and Play, easily to expand and engrossing less system resource is shown in the system.Based on the research of this thesis,the composing of aviation systemic for INMARSAT and channel types is introduced firstly.Secondly,the USB2.0 bus technology is discussed in this thesis,including bus attributes,dataflow model,dataflow types,the USB2.0's advantage over USB1.X and so on.And then based on the practical applications in INMARSAT digital receiver,the designing details and the success in study is discussed in which there are third parts:chip and firmware design,FPGA logic design and software design on PC.Firstly, the performance of USB2.0 controller CY7C68013A is described,and then the hardware design scheme is given in detail.In terms of the chip design and the firmware flow provided by Cypress company,the firmware design of Slave FIFOs is given in the following . In the part of FPGA design,both the design processing on FPGA and the programme result on embedded processer is analysed. At last,after the introduction on the device driver,the application programme based on the Visual C++ is completed according to the INMARSAT protocol,including the scrambler,CRC verify,interpretation and so on.The data acquisition system for INMARSAT satellite receiver based on USB 2.0 technology bus provides a more effective,more economical and more convenient way to collect data.
