The virtual instrument is a kind of functional instrument used in the measurement and control area. It is composed of personal computer,basic hardware and applied software. By taking full advantages of the software and hardware resource of the computer,the virtual instrument can not only realize the functions of the traditional instrument,but also has better expandability and flexibility,which makes the VI have vast development space and broad application prospects.The topic of virtual instrument based on USB data acquisition is studied in this paper,which mainly discuss and confirm the whole design scheme of the system on the basis of study on the technology of VI,USB and data acquisition,as well as the hardware analysis and implementation,software system designing. Through the FX2 Series MCU 68013 that build-in USB controller as a main control unit,and 14-Bit A/D converter AD9244 as a data acquisition unit,the data acquisition system is implemented. By discussing the Windows drive program model,the design and program of USB device driver is accomplished. Then detailed discussion is made on the module design process of PC application program.
