Industrial CT (ICT), is composed of many subjects, such as automation,communication engineering, mechanical engineering, optoelectronic technology andimage processing, etc. ICT is also named Computer Tomography technology (the besttesting technology at present), which applies to industrial products for non-destructivetesting.With the demand for testing of Large workpiece, precision,max diameter andtesting speed are demanded higher in ICT. This trend results in increasing in channeland testing speed, and much more data are needed to send to uplevel computer. And atthe same time, we want farther transmission distance and cheaper.This topic is set out in the actual requirements, which is using Ethernet to achievehigh-speed data, remote transmission. In this paper, the system project design is narrated.Based on characteristic of industry CT, cut off the partially useless function in networktransmission protocol, According to the data processing of UDP protocol, in the whole,the FPGA data processing process is divided into former FPGA processing module,UDP module, IP module and MAC module, and According to the FPGA chip, putforward the implementation steps. With the explanation of inside construction of FPGA,this paper explains the work of modules and construction in FPGA. Describes theworking mode of physical layer chip and the connections with FPGA, have completedthe whole system hardware design. From the angle of software, describes the designideas of system software. According to the design proposal, the function of each moduleand implementation are described. The digital circuit design has been completed byVHDL.At last, reliability of transfer system is demonstrated, and system testing methodand testing result are given. At the end of this paper, conclusion and prospect are madeabout the data transfer in industry CT.The system transmission testing shows that, it can accomplish the high-speed andreal-time transmission, and achieve the desired objective. At the same time, the systemcompletely takes respective advantages of FPGA chip and UDP protocol, and showsgood performace.
