More than80%of the information which Human obtain comes from vision,modern imaging technology based on the principle of human vision has made rapiddevelopment and wide application in many fields.As an important application ofmodern imaging technologies,high definition imaging, whether in industrial production,intelligent transportation, or in scientific research, military reconnaissance as well asother fields,it is widely used.It plays an important role in people’s production andlife.Especially,with the rapid development of the integrated circuit,significantimprovement of semiconductor process, and the emergence of new processors and newsensors,the development of high definition imaging technology is toward the directionof high dynamic range, high resolution and high integration development.At present,many institutions at home and abroad do research successively incontrol technology of high definition imaging.some adopt the control scheme ofgeneral video image system based on PC,and some adopt the control scheme ofspecial video image system based on embedded system.Compared to the former,thelatter has many advantages:its volume is small, its development cycle is short, and itsdevelopment cost is low, besides, the update of program is also convenient, thesefeatures are the future trend of the development of electronic products, it is able tomeet the needs of the customers.The paper takes a high definition imaging system project as the background. Andthe control scheme of special video image system based on embedded system isselected.The HD imaging control system whose central processor is the Cyclone IIchip EP2C35F484C7of Altera FPGA is set up to provide image source for subsequentresearch on real-time display of HD image, and its image acquisition unit is the solidimage sensor ICX274of SONY for.In the system,the driving waveforms of ICX274are generated easily by CXD3609R which is the new type of ICX274special drivingchip, and the analog signals from the solid image sensor ICX274are correlated doublesampled,adjustable-gain amplified and A/D converted by the high-speed CCD analogsignal processor AD9945.In addition, the pingpang buffer structure is made up bytwo chips of the Micron synchronous dynamic memory MT48LC16M16A2to bufferand process high-speed image information seamlessly from AD9945.In addition to build the hardware platform, this paper has a detailed analysis on the function, working principle and data communication format of all the functionmodules in the system.And on this basis,the ICX274driving module, the AD9945sampling module, the judge module of odd and even frames, the control module oftable tennis cache, the color interpolation module and the color space transformationmodule, etc, are designed respectively by the hardware description language VerilogHDL, and the top-down, stratification thought of the modular design. Then,the designmodules are synthesized,optimized,implemented,timing simulated one by one in thedevelopment platform Quartus II9.1.Lastly, they are debugged in the hardwareplatform.The simulation results and test results show that the design of driving module,sampling module, pingpong buffer module and other signal processing module in thispaper can work normally, and meet the work need of the high definition imagingsystem.It provides a solid foundation for the subsequent image processing andreal-time display research.
