Design And Implementation Of Embedded Web Server Based On Sopc Technology

With the development of Internet, combined with the Internet will represent the new direction of development of embedded systems, Embedded Web Server can not only provide a rich graphical user interface for remote management and monitoring, but also supply further development on the server side, to enrich variety of embedded functions.SOPC(System on a Programmable Chip)design technology based on FPGA is the forefront of electronic design technologies field, this paper propose a solution of "Nios Ⅱ+μC/OS-Ⅱ+LwIP ", using Nios II soft core SOPC designing. It established a SOPC system in the Cyclone series FPGA development board, took Nios II soft core processor as the prime controller, real-time multitasking operating system μC/OS-Ⅱ for software platform, and embedded network protocol stack LwIP for application layer communication protocol, developed an Embedded Web Server. The CPU itself is based on the Nios Ⅱ soft core, its function can be customized as needed and very flexible, in addition, SOPC Builder provides a ready-made network protocol stack, this Embedded Web Server has many advantages, such as high integration, reconFig.urability, design flexibility, short development cycle, etc., it laid the foundation for the realization of more complex features of the Web Server.After practical operation in the laboratory LAN, It is proved that the design method this paper proposed is feasible, It made the Embedded systems access to Internet, users can share information from small embedded devices via Ethernet and HTTP data transfer. And then, It can provide a good solution for remote video system control and data acquisition.
