The Design Of Small Auto Weather Station Based On Embedded Web Server

As China's meteorological monitoring network fining, small-scale AWS is being given more attention.It has the feature of flexible, simple layout, as the large-scale AWS's complement, it ensures the high coverage rates of meteorological monitoring. Most of the current systems of small-scale AWS use the framework of C/S. In this framework, AWS and monitoring center is the client, through the server to complete the transfer of meteorological data transmission. Its disadvantage is the need to set up a dedicated server, and the need to develop special applications softwares, high costs, and many links in the development process, the development cycle length; and the use of the process cumbersome, high maintenance costs.To address the above problem, this paper develop a Web-based server for small-scale AWS, and on the basis of small-scale AWS build a Web server, user monitoring computer as a client, it's no need to develop the dedicated applications softwares, just through the IE browser, we can access AWS, get weather information, It not only reduces the cost and simplify the development process. Meanwhile, meteorological information has been reflected in the form of the website, we can use the data, graphics or animation, and other plentiful expressions.First, this paper introduces the framework of the overall system, then discusss the process of construction of the hardware platform at the core of S3C44B0X and the uClinux operating system software platform.On this basis, complemently discuss the implementation process of construction the Embedded Web server for meteorological monitoring on the Small-AWS, includes the construction of Embedded Web Server and the software development of meteorological monitoring based on the Embedded Web server. Finally, discuss where the system needs to further explore and study.
