| With the rapid development of computer technology and simulation theory, visual simulation with its intuitive, lifelike and interaction, has been more and more attention from all walks of life. Artillery as one of the major heavy weapons of the current force equipment, its shooting training has long relied on actual equipment. This kind of traditional training way has its good side, but there are also exist high danger, high training cost and extremely easy influence by the objective factors such as weather, training area and so on. In order to solve the problems, the troops are in urgent need of a new effective training means to make up for the defect existing in the traditional training. In view of the above problems, on the basis of the actual work experience in troops and looked up a large number of document literatures, an artillery firing training method based on visual simulation is presented by the author, and the method provides an effective way for artillery firing training.The paper firstly introduces the research progress about simulation training, visual simulation technique and artillery firing training simulation system at domestic and overseas. Then on the basis of introduces the related knowledge of artillery gunnery and firing training, to a certain type of mortar, for example, by analyzing the model requirements of artillery firing visual simulation system, the overall framework of the system and implementation of technical solutions are proposed. Then the three dimensional models of artillery, shell, target and shooting gallery terrain are created with modeling tool called MultiGen Creator; According to the model of artillery external trajectory, the prototype system of artillery firing training based on Vega Prime is designed and developed; According to the lacking interface of Vega Prime, the user-friendly operating interface based on single document frame of MFC is structed by Visual C++.At last, the realization of the system is run and tested, and the operation results show that, the system is simple, screen flow, perfect function and easy to operation, and it can simulate the processes of artillery firing real-timely and meet the requirements of artillery firing training. |
