Research Of Real-time 3d Scene Visualization Technology Based On Vega Prime

Virtual Reality is a kind of advanced man-machine interface, which contains real-time stimulation and interaction by scene channels of vision,hearing, touch, smell,taste and so on.In VR system, process during which the cognitive way of scene organs is stimulated actually. With the rapid development and mature of virtual reality technology, the virtual reality techniques are applied extensively in many fields. At present, virtual reality technology has been applied in entertainment, medical treatment, engineering and architecture, education and training, science and finance visualization.Virtual campus real-time system cruising is one of virtual reality technology application. With object of northern part of XinJiang University, this paper based on MultiGen Creator/Vega Prime, completes scene visualization and also realize real-time system cruising .In this paper,I have introduced the Virtual Reality concept at first, studied out how to create vivid model ,and at the same time ,reduce the complexity of create model and reduce the resource engross of the system greatly . Secondly,we studied the chief problem in the process of real-time cruising, such as cruise method and collision detection. We have discoursed upon the collision detection in the real-time cruising carefully. And then, creator of campus model was assembled to a new scene in the VP system, and realized the virtual school scene walk-through system.In the end, I have summarized this method of scene visualization based on Vega Prime,point out the advantage and disadvantage in this system. The respects of the future work are also outlined.
