Design And Development Of Network Course System Base On Moodle

As information technology are developing steadily, especially thecomputer network technology has evolved, network course management hasbecome an important part of modern education and are playing an in-creasingly important role. Network course management system design insoftware technology continued to new and improvement in security,scalability, and has commonality and other technical and functional andinteractivity have made great progress. Network course management hasissued an outline for authentication, curriculum and teaching programsand courses of studies, information and information management andoperations management function, it can be reasonable use of educationalresources, increase efficiency. To the network of the modern tools, adatabase management system, you must study a practical curriculumdevelopment of network management system, facilitate the organization islocated in different geographical location of the students, can timelyanalysis of the students to study, analysis, the overall effects offurther improving the quality of instruction and efficiency are sig-nificant.This thesis compares the traditional teaching methods and the ad-vantages and disadvantages of network course teaching.According to therequest of Network Course for college,I design the structure of thesystem.And I develope the Netword Course System base on Moodle. It will offer a comfortable environment for Moodle through the netword includinga mail transmission system,a management and transmission system for allkinds of Network Course system. The system refered in this thesis hasalredy been finished and has now been running in Network Course for collegefor a try at the beginning of2011.The effect of this system is out-standing.The realization of the system to LinuxCentos5.5Amd64asoperating system, use of PHP object-oriented,database is MYSQL, theprogramming language used modular structure design and target-orienteddevelopment methods, MVC model. Use of latest PHP platform technology(PHP、MVC、Smarty、ADO and Cookie),to linux Web LNMP framework underservers, achieved managers functional functional, teachers functional,students functional functional modules. The system will not only provideteachers teaching and students learn better interaction between platform,teaching management sector can also provide important teaching feedbackinformation.
