In modern world, with its characters such as large amount of information andreal-time video and audio transmission, radio and television become themainstream media instead of newspapers, magazines and other traditional mediain a few years. Over the last few years, along with the rapid development ofinformation technology and communication industry, CMMB is becoming a newhot research focus as an emerging multimedia business.TV stations, base stations and other units need to monitor the service ofmobile multimedia broadcast continuously every day in order to ensure thebroadcast content to be in line with the requirements of related national policiesand regulations, while guaranteeing the quality of signals that users receive. Asbeing different from common user terminal, TV stations, base stations and otherunits need to deal with the program which has large amount of information,longtime and high quality on related parameters precision, so there is a high demandon decoding efficiency, stability and accuracy of its related technologies such asencoding and decoding technology, dislay technology, etc. Based on actualdemand, we design and implement a system which can decode efficiently andprocess the program of mobile multimedia broadcast. The core technology of oursystem is targeted for the video and audio information process on the program ofmobile multimedia broadcast. Our system consists three parts: signaldemodulation devices, video and audio decoding software, as well as video andaudio play and control software.In this paper, we do the following tasks:(1) Study the basic theory of mobile multimedia broadcast, such as industrystandards, technical requirements, systems architecture, frame structure, etc.Focus on the video and audio decoding method, the player display technology,video storage technology, etc.(2) Use C language to implement a practical and usable approach of videoand audio decoding, which processes efficiently and reliably, and then build theexperiment environment to test and verify our method.(3) Design and implement a digital video and audio decoding and processsystem of mobile multimedia broadcast, which can be used in actual environment.Each part of the system coordinates to complete the processing tasks. In this paper, the digital video and audio decoding and process system ofmobile multimedia broadcast has good performance. It can achieve the goal ofprocessing the digital video and audio data of mobile multimedia broadcastefficiently and reliably. In addition, there are also some improvements in oursystem and we put forward some advices in the concluding part of this paper.
