The oil, as the 20th century’s main energy supplies, supports the human rapiddevelopment of industry and economic. 21 century the demand for oil is constantlyincreasing, application field more and more widely, but oil are non-renewable resources, reserves though unknown, but with the constantly mining, present reduce trend.Compared with the 20th century, 21 century oil industry will face more seriousdifficulties and challenges, we need to constantly in the exploration of new oil field, butalso need to put a new technology application in petroleum industry unceasingly, makesthe oil production to meet our needs. Now oil reserves, just is mature oilfields developed before, oil resources have beenconstantly dried up, because the restriction of water injection mining process, crude oilneed the dehydration, before output to other oil process. The key technology of water-oilseparation is the detection of oil and water interface, this is relation to the later process ofwastewater treatment and control of crude oil accuracy. Therefore, we developed a lot ofmeasurement methods: float law, capacitive, short wave, optical fiber, but these methodsall can not except from the effect of oil by hanging, temperature, density, and so on. Inorder to improve the treatment efficiency of crude oil, the related equipment instrument isvery necessary. This paper combines the high performance ARM embedded system, the applicationof the currently popular control technology and wireless transmission technology, usingthe resonant frequency sensor structure, design a system used in oil-water interfacedetection. The system includes two parts: embedded control system (hand-held frontdevices) using the core of the processor S3C2410, and to realize the display of systemoperational status; the signal acquisition system (measuring terminal) using the singlechip microcomputer, responsible for signal collection and processing and sending, andrealizing the movement control of the sensor and access of the level information. Thepaper focuses on the embedded system software and hardware composition, the detaileddesign of measuring terminal, gives out the experimental results. At last, the results canmeet the design requirements.
