HART hand-held controller is a kind of portable device that can communicate with field transfer based on HART protocol. Hand-held controller can set and inspect the measurement range and damp constant of the transfer, at the same time it also can diagnose the transfer. The hand-held controller is widely used in industry field. The paper discusses the research and realization of the hand-held controller based on uC/OS-II embedded operating system, include the way of how to realize the system circuit, how to immigrate embedded operating system uC/OS-II and graphical user interfaces uC/GUI to the develop board and how to develop the hardware drive interface.Designed the circuit of hand-held controller. Assist with subordinate circuit, hand-held controller can realize functions such as program store, LCD display and keyboard operating. It can display any kind of character and graphics, and can receive user's command through keyboard. And made WIGGLER JTAG debug board for debug and test. It is used for online debug, can reduce the time of developing period. The structure of the board is simple and is suitable for individual studyThe paper also researches the principle of uC/OS-II kernel and the way of realization. Because the internal structure of processor based on ARM7 is not the same among all kinds of processors, so the uC/OS-II can't be used on processor directly. What I have done is the modification of the uC/OS-II for suiting the hand-held controller, at the same time program the preprocessor code, the environment setting that is suitable for uC/OS-II to run on it.At last, the paper discusses how to immigrate uC/GUI to uC/OS-II,and explaines how to use it. It is useful for those who just begin to learn uC/GUI.
