With the advent of the information ages,video compression technology gains vigorous development and provides more and better visual enjoyment for people.As the key technology of the multimedia application,video technology directly affects the quality of multimedia services.With the development of video technology,a series of video coding standards have be proposed and each standard has its own merits,so the coexistence of multiple video compression standards becomes the fact.Multi-Standard Video Decoder also become mainstream.MPEG-4 is a multimedia compression standard based on these secondary generation visual coded technologys.It has adopted a lot of creative technologies,so the code efficiency and flexibility have been greatly improved than the previously standards.The main object of this thesis discusses the design and implementation of the MPEG-4 interframe interpolation which compatible with Multi-Standard Video Decoder.Cooperative company provide a Multi-Standard Video Decoder which compatible with MPEG-2,AVS,H264. This decoder need some modifications to compatible with MPEG-4. Since the limitation of time and energy,this thesis make some modifications aim at three modules,receive_ref_data, interpolate_cal and weighted_cal,base on MPEG-4 interframe interpolation.The design was described with Verilog HDL,used ModelSim SE 6.2b to make function verification.This thesis implemented the Multi-Standard Video Decoder compatible with MPEG-4 interframe interpolation...
