Electrical R esistance T omography is a n ew visualization process d etection technology; it can reconstruct the conductivity distribution image of the material in the area measured according to that different medias have different conductivities. It can b e applied i n t he multiphase flow detection with conductivity medium as t he continuous phase, and can visually measure the gas/liquid, solid/liquid two phase flow parameters. With its simple structure, low cost, good real-time property, non-intrusive, etc, E RT t echnology ha s attractive d evelopment a nd application pr ospects in t he industrial production process detection.The m ultiphase f low detection requires the ERT s ystem to ha ve real-time property and hi gher image s pace resolution, s o a n ovel 1 6 electrodes E RT d ata acquisition system was constructed in this paper, which gives full play to real-time signal processing ability of DSP and logic controllable, hardware programmable of FPGA to improve work performance of the ERT system. The main work is as follows:1. The theoretical b asis an d the basic s tructure o f t he T RT s ystem were researched, and then the hardware was designed based on FPGA and DSP. In this system, DSP as the main controller, accomplished data transferring and processing, image reconstruction and communications with the PC; FPGA, as the coprocessor, was u sed to r ealize s ystem lo gic c ontrol, e xcitation s ignal g eneration, excitation/measurement channels switch, P GA gain c ontrol, orthogonal s equences demodulation and FIFO data cache, etc.2. O n t he ba sis o f the h ardware circuit design, the s ystem software w as constructed, i ncluding FPGA p rogram d esign, DS P program de sign, Interface program design of matlab and DSP based on CCSLink and PIC Interface program of the PC and DSP.3. Performance tests and imaging experiments were implemented to the system and the real-time performance of the system was briefly analyzed, which shows that the system works stably and reliably, and meets the requirements of the multiphase flow measurement.
