With the development of VoIP technology, more and more enterprises deploy theIP-PBX equipments. As the main technology of VoIP, SIP technology is widely used indata communication field. With the Internet businesses based on SIP protocol increasegradually, enterprises are badly in need of a kind of SIP relay technology which issimilar to traditional public switched telephone network (PSTN) trunk line tointerconnect internet. SIP-TRUNK technology arises at the historic moment.At present, although the existing voice gateway product based on SIP-TRUNKtechnology can provide basic functions, part of the business functions have been notdevelopment. The purpose of this paper is to develop a service function named musicholding on the voice gateway product, which based on SIP-TRUNK technology.According to the difference of voice source, the function can divided into local playingand remote playing(playing music by the third party music server).According to the requirements of the project, this paper carries out the detaileddemand analysis and describes the specific functions that the MCH(music call holding)service system should implement. The functions of MCH service are divided into9specific needs points such as the success of MCH service, the recovery of MCH service.Each of the specific needs has a detailed instruction. Then, this paper which based ondemand analysis carries out a summary design and a detailed design, including thedesign of system architecture, the design of important date structure, the design ofmessage interacting and the design of signaling process of service.This paper carries out a concrete realization for MCH service based on H3CComwareV5. It explains the interaction with each sub-module detailed, and expoundsthe main functions in each sub-module detailed. Among the rest of the sub-modules, themost important module are realized by using FSM(finite-state machine). Finally, thepaper tests the MCH service functions by creating test environment in order to ensureproject quality.
