| In recent years, with the rise of the Internet and the development of voice technology, VoIP has been a considerable proportion of the market. Its application has brought us many benefits.SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is first introduced by IETF as one of the realization mode of VoIP. The advantage of SIP is simple, and with this property it can simplify many call process. At the same time it also has abundant extension regulations. SIP is considered as one of the most important protocols in VoIP and the core technology in NGN and 3G, because of its good flexibility, simpleness and extensibility. At the beginning of this thesis, I introduce the background and key technologies of VoIP, and then describe some important protocols associated with VoIP in the second part. In the third part, I discuss some realization of SIP extension functions in detail according to the needs of Customers.SIP-T provides two characteristics (transparency and routability) through techniques known as 'encapsulation' and 'translation' respectively. In the last part, as an experiment I also introduce the Implementation of SIP-T in the Trunking Gateway. |
