In recent years, with the development of computer technology, Virtual maintenancetechnology gets the attention of the enterprise application more and more. But because it isstill at the beginning of the study, and its technology is weak. So the technology has notbeen widely applied for the complex products. As the manufacturing industry and thedevelopment of Marine diesel engine, Marine diesel engine as the typical complex productsits structure produced very big change. Marine diesel engine of the design development inorder to reduce costs and shorten the development cycle, People in the continuousexploration perfect a new kind of design method——in the virtual environment to carry onthe design, manufacturing and virtual installation. Pre-stalling3D model products in thevirtual environment can get rid of the prototype test to rely on, and the rationality of thedesign scheme before actual processing manufacturing. By this also can adjust if confirmed.In a virtual environment of the product installation and virtual manufacturing, that doesn’tonly save the cost but also increases the efficiency of design and manufacture. The mainresearch content of the present study is as follows:1) To analyze the application shape, developing tendency of Virtual maintenancetechnology as well as the usage and design model of the current Virtual maintenancetechnology.2) To summarize the modeling technology of Virtual maintenance technology, and givevarious modeling methods, including the establishment of virtual prototype, virtualpeople, virtual environment, and3D model, etc.3) To put forward the architecture model of Virtual maintenance technology in thisessay aiming at the need of current Virtual maintenance technology, and analyzes thekey technology of Virtual maintenance.4) On the basis of the analysis of key technology of virtual maintenance, it provides thekey operation of Virtual maintenance technology--the solution idea and solutionmethods of disassembly sequence5) To analyze the influence factors of virtual maintenance, gives assessment criteria ofvirtual maintenance, and provides the quantification process of each criterion.6) According to the virtual simulation software--Tecnomatix, this thesis providesspecific operation of virtual maintenance of marine diesel engine cylinder parts, and makes the checking to above research.
