Owing to the high precision, high reliability and low cost, induction-coupling angle detecting technology is used in industrial controlling widely. By now, there aren’t systematic research and achievement inside China. And almost all of the products are produced by foreign firms. As a result, it’s essential to develop our own products with independent intellectual rights. At first, the basal mathematical model of the sensor coils is analyzed, sine-form of function- f (θ) is proved to be optimal. Then the signal processing scheme is put forward. The whole system architecture design is done. The main work and most important part of the paper is the analog-module circuit design. An auto-amplitude- calibration (AAC) LC oscillator is designed. The work of parameter analysis, calculating and simulation is done comprehensively. A three-OPA (operational amplifier) instrumentation amplifier is designed. A new zero-pole frequency compensation method is raised. And a reference circuit is designed. After that, the die-level layout design is done and the post simulation is done to verify the layout design. The design is taped out to the norm CMOS process of chrt035dg at an area cost of 2.5mm×2.5mm in the means of MPW. Finally, the chip is tested in a sound way after packing and test system constructing. For the problems discovered in testing, optimizing work is done. To solve the voltage drifting and bad restrain of higher harmonic, an optimizing method is proposed. To locate why the closed-loop gain of the instrumentation amplifier is inaccurate, analysis and discuss work is done, and solving thread is showed.
