With the rapid development of information technology, the inefficient supply chain management of the telecommunication industry has been unable to face fierce market competition, particularly the low efficiency in inventory costs. It is an urgent problem for the telecommunication to reduce inventory costs at the present time. As a result, this thesis will put forward a telecommunication supply chain inventory control decision support system based on distributed Data Warehouse and Data Mining, offering a convenient and efficient decision support for the enterprise decision makers.Firstly, the problems of the traditional system of telecommunication inventory management are analyzed, and in order to solve these problems, the framework of the decision support system of telecommunication supply chain inventory control is given out, and components of this framework are described in detail. Secondly, two key techniques of the system: build telecommunication supply chain distributed inventory Data Warehouse technique and realize telecommunication supply chain inventory control based on GA-BP algorithm, are studied in depth. This thesis analyzes the feature of inventory management, presents the architecture and construction maneuver of telecommunication supply chain distributed inventory Data Warehouse, analyzes data source, granularity design, data model, fact table and dimension table design of local Data Warehouse and global Data Warehouse and local data is mapped to global Data Warehouse by Remote View, and then based on the finished Data Warehouse; a GA-BP algorithm which combines GA algorithm with BP algorithm is designed to improve efficiency of inventory control. Finally, this thesis presented the implementation of inventory control according to the application background of decision support system of the Jiang Su telecommunication inventory control, which makes good application effect.
