The simulation system of coherent radar target, clutter, and deceptive jamming can be used to test the radar performance of target detection, tracking and anti-jamming via real time emulation signals of radar target, clutter, and deceptive jamming. It can shorten development cycle effectively, save development costs, and is an indispensable means of loop simulation for radar system.Based on the national defense science and technology project, the simulation system of coherent radar target, clutter, and deceptive jamming is designed and implemented in this thesis. The simulator can generate signals of wideband target, typical clutter and deceptive jamming accurately which reflect the characteristics of radar target electromagnetic scattering and the modulation features of radar transmit signal within the pulse width. It also has analog function of continuous wave and can adapt to the simulation requirement of every kind signal for coherent radar. This system is expected to provide an advanced simulation tool for the testing of radar system.This paper discusses the basic method of the simulation of radar target echo and builds the simulation model for target, clutter and jamming signals. It presents the hardware circuit of simulator based on the technology of digital radio frequency memory, and researches the design and implementation of the high-speed digital circuit and radio frequency circuit respectively. On the above basis, it has completed the design of the system software for coherent radar target simulator based on the network platform, which is comprised of the master program and RTX real-time control program. This paper also has applied the driver programming in the RTX environment for VMIC and USB to ensure real-time data transmission efficiently.After finishing the design work of the system hardware and software, having completed the debugging work for the simulator and giving a lot of measured data and waveforms, which can reflect the technical indicators for this system. As the target signal and deceptive jamming signal generation subsystem of the whole simulation system, completing the loop simulation experiment for a certain type of radar system together with target array system. The results show that both of the system hardware and software is working stable, the human-computer interaction is friendly, meeting the technical requirements of the simulation system and achieving the desired results.
