The telemetering capsule is an important component of some kind of aircraft; it can test a variety of real-time access to flight status parameters, to confirm the aircraft’s performance and provide the basis of locating the failure. Signal processing circuit is a core component of the telemetering module; its channel transmission accuracy and encoding function directly affects the performance of the telemetry system. Because the existing test equipment cannot meet demand for new models of aircraft tests, according to the requirements of the signal processing circuit test system, this paper design a new type of automated test system based on virtual instrument technology for a certain research institution.The signal processing circuit test system is used to beck-end test telemetry components of an aircraft when it is delivering. The system is developed by LabVIEW and Visual C++ based on the virtual instrument technology. The computer control various boards and equipment via the RS232 and PCI interface, generate high-precision DC voltage signal to measure the performance parameters of each telemetry channel, and receive the PCM and LVDS data sending by the telemetry bay. The entire testing process is controlled by software; the test results can be stored for analyzing; the test report can be generated automatically. Software and hardware design have adopted the modular design, with good scalability to meet the needs of the system after the upgrade.In this paper, the system’s overall design, selection, interface designs are illustrated, and the specific hardware and software implementation of each functional module are described in details. And then introduce the unit and joint testing of this system, point out the problems in developing and provide their solutions. Finally, the paper summarizes the major work of this test system, and makes recommendations for improvements.
