| The professional development of teachers was taken to a new high point by the new curriculum.More and more teachers began to notice the importance and urgency of it. This is not an opportunity but also a challenge to the primary school teachers professional development, when the he new curriculum help them improving teaching level and achieve the ideal of education, However, rural primary school teachers have to face the problem more than they can imagine and sometimes even beyond their ability because the poor teaching environment and slower starting point of the new curriculum. It is worth considering:how to get a professional development about themselves when facing the rapid development of basic education.With the issue, the author use a narrative research method of qualitative studies, and have a depth interviews and analyses the cases of three teachers’ professional development in different periods of the rural primary school. The author try to restore educational events through the stories of the study, deeply know about their educational experiences, affection of education, the spirits of teachers, and get an objective view of teachers’ professional development. Based on this study, the paper analyses some problems during their professional development and some factors affecting their professional development.Then the paper summarizes some ways about teachers’ professional development at rural primary school and hope it help and promote the teachers’professional development.Rural primary school teachers ’professional development not only needs stimulation of outer environment, also needs encouragement about teachers’ awareness of inner growth. Teachers’ professional development is a continuous process, it should not be hampered by the time and conditions. |
