Martial arts as China’s outstanding traditional sports, is a treasure of traditionalChinese culture. It combines philosophy, aesthetics, medical, military, religious,ethical, psychological as a whole, Martial arts has a strong ethnic flavor and deepmass base. Martial arts as a cultural phenomenon, plays an irreplaceable role in thebalanced development of human physical and mental health, as well as culturalheritage, and promote the national spirit. The school in the tradition of the traditionalculture of the nation, have an important responsibility to carry forward the nationalspirit. In recent years, the survey shows that our young people have physical decline,disease younger and poorer mental endurance and other health problems. How topromote young people to actively participate in physical exercise, improve physicalfitness become one of the Important things of school education.Under the guidance of martial arts standardization and martial arts concept, thenational Wushu Research Institute co-organized with the Ministry of Educationchoreography schools martial arts series aerobics. Since September1,2010, topromote the implementation of the national primary and secondary schools (includingspecial schools), secondary vocational schools. In order to solve the problem ofmartial arts into the campus, the national Wushu Research Institute selected theprovinces, municipalities and county levels, administrative capital of three primaryand secondary schools for martial arts teaching situation research, and completed aschool martial arts education reform and development issues. National WushuResearch Institute has prepared a the Dan system segment-level technical standards inschools and martial arts teaching content unity "Chinese Wushu System series oftutorials.In order to deep understanding of Jinan City Schools martial arts class to carry out the situation, and to broaden the use of martial arts means to carry forward thenational spirit, I made a follow-up survey. In this study, part of the primary andsecondary school students, parents, PE teachers and school leaders Jinan City arerespondents, Situation and Development Countermeasures for martial arts teaching inprimary and secondary schools in Jinan City are research contents. I use some waysfor the further study. It concluded as follows: Martial arts is not good in primary andsecondary schools in Jinan City. About80%of the schools in Jinan City have notopened a martial arts class, lack of systematic school martial arts education, teachersteaching more messy student awareness of the martial arts. Traditional culture in thecountry, the lack of a learning environment, and Wushu into the primary andsecondary purpose is not clear. The course does not reflect the special course inmartial arts and other sports, does not give full play to the value of the function of themartial arts. The education department ignored policies enacted after the completionof the exchange and supervision arrangements, teaching plans to complete the courseand so did not do timely supervision and management. The Education Sector ignorepolicies enacted after the completion of the exchange with supervision, and no timelysupervision and management. Been the lack of teacher training and exchanges, and toreform the martial arts should be first from teachers.To solve the problem, to make the following recommendations: Primary andsecondary schools should earnestly implement the "Schools for carry forward andcultivate the national spirit education Implementation Outline". In primary andsecondary schools, martial arts should be put as a compulsory content, martial artscourses singled out from the physical education in schools have certain conditions, tobecome an independent course, the martial arts into campus culture. Schools shoulduse reasonable materials and teaching methods, teaching evaluation system,outstanding national and cultural heritage of China. Education departments to set up arigorous curriculum responsibility system regulatory approach to the implementationof the regulatory authorities, improve the supervision mechanism and regulatoryfunctions to protect the status of martial arts in primary and secondary education. Atthe same time, it is necessary to improve the system of reward and punishment, and the martial arts teaching and contest the outcome of the school’s evaluation, and toenhance the school’s emphasis on martial arts class, a good momentum ofdevelopment of the martial arts teaching in primary and secondary schools. Theeducation authorities should establish a sound system of teacher training, professionalstandards of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools of martialarts in Jinan. In order to provide a reference to contribute to a force to promote thetraditional culture of martial arts teaching in primary and secondary schools in thedevelopment of future Jinan.
