It is an important topic of the domestic and international basic education reform to combine thephysics history with the physics teaching. The traditional physics teaching, which focuses onlogical approaches, neglects the process of scientific knowledge construction. It does not takescientific methodology seriously and neglects students’ interests, attitudes, emotions andcultivation of creative ability. This does harm to the comprehension of nature of science and thecultivation of science spirit and the creative ability. The combination of the physics history withthe physics teaching is a beneficial way for innovating the traditional physics teaching.This dissertation analyses the drawbacks of the traditional teaching and current condition ofthe domestic and international researches on the combination of the physics history with thephysics teaching, and puts forward the research topic: the use of physics history educationresources optimizing physics teaching research, and designed several teaching modes, each modewith a case below.The first chapter is the introduction, including background, research status at home andabroad, as well as the problems and the work of dissertation.Chapter two analysed the necessity of using history of physics to optimize physics classroomteaching. Thesis discussed in three ways history of physics optimized physical classroom. Thesealso discussed the importance of the history of physics from the cognitive perspective,cultivatingobjectives and physics teaching. These are the analysis of the “Should-be” value of the physics.In this chapter, it stated significant of study.Chapter three is theoretical basis of this paper. This paper discussed from two aspects, one isPiagetian theory of cognitive development, the other is Kuhn’s theory of scientific development,and detailed the relations and requests for bringing history of physics into physical classroom.Chapter four is theoretical research for using history of physics optimizing physics teaching.Firstly the paper related the three stages of the development of physics. Its purpose is to excavatethe physical matericals, then discussed used history of physics to optimize the methods and principles of physics teaching. The purpose of researching the teaching methods and teachingprinciples was playing a positive role in optimizing teaching.Chapter five is practice research of using history of physics to optimize physics teaching. In this part, thepaper discussed effect of physics history optimizing physics teaching in three models for teaching. The paperdetailed teaching link of “demonstration-guidance-exploration” teaching mode, and explored optimized effectof physics history using motion of a free falling body as a case. Then the paper discussed activity’s preparationand step of “independent participatory” teaching mode, and explained it using “planets mode” as a case. finally,the paper ended up with Group Cooperative Learning, and detailed catalysis of Group Cooperative Learningon leading history of physics into classroom teaching.Chapter six is brief summary, then discussed shortage and improvement in this paper.
