A Research On The Plight And Countermeasures Of Model Education In Primary And Secondary Schools

Model education is an important way of moral education inprimary and secondary schools. At present, model education inprimary and secondary schools has made some achievements, butthere are some plight appear on the setting of target, guidance onstudents’ idolatry, contents of model education, methods of modeleducation and the publicity of models. The main reasons are lack ofgood environment of model education, the unreasonable factorsexist in traditional model education and lack of consideration on thecharacteristics of physical and mental development of students inprimary and secondary school.To improve the current situation ofmoral education in primary and secondary schools we must takemeasures as follows:First, reasonable target should be set model bythe teachers;Second,actively guide idol worship, open up a newpath of idol-model education;Third, the contents of modeleducation should conformed with hierarchy and diversity;Forth,many methods should be used to improve the effectiveness of modeleducation in primary and secondary schools;Fifth, models should be advertised continually and normalizedly;Sixth, build a goodsocial environment for the model education in primary andsecondary schools.
