With the development of the times, the progress of the society, the continuousimprovement of the mass cultural consumption level, the gradual enhancement of people’sconsciousness of fitness and accident prevention awareness, swimming has become people’sincreasing favorite sport. Among them, the number of7-9years old learners has increasedyear by year. For the number of learners is increasing heavily, many swimming clubs give theCrash course, which is characteristics of targeting on swimming knowledge and skill learningonly, too much emphasis on the knowledge of the target, Ignoring the children’ inner feelings,lacking of the study interesting; In the method, emphasizing the teachers’ teaching, ignoringchildren’s learning, separating the teachers’ teaching and the children’s learning; in theevaluation, taking disposable summative assessment instead of formative assessment,ignoring the individual differences of children, discounting the learning motivation. So how todesign the breaststroke teaching strategy more in line with the7-9years old children’spsychological, physiological characteristics and movement skill formation rules is one of theproblems to be solved now.In this paper, I use the literature material law, expert interview method, expert evaluation,questionnaire, mathematical analysis and experiment. According to7-9years old children’sphysical and psychological traits and sport skill formation law, combined with thebreaststroke teaching characteristic, I try to develop a more suitable breaststroke teachingstrategy which accords with the age of the children’s development needs.The results of the study show that:1.7-9years old children breaststroke teaching takes the "interest stimulating" basedstrategy for the goal. On one hand, by changing the teaching order, I add more time for thechildren to stay in the water for fostering them the feeling of "close to the water" to overcomethe fear of water. On the other hand, through the integrated use of the teaching methods ofdirect-viewing, pithy formula, games and reducing the difficulty of practice, I try to improvelearning initiative, inspire active learning desire and interest, and help the formation of astrong independent consciousness.2.7-9years old children breaststroke teaching takes the "heterogeneous mutualassistance" based strategy for the form, which tries the heterogeneous group in practice stageto favor the children help each other and explore, stimulate the interest and shorten the gapamong the children in the same group.3.7-9years old children breaststroke teaching takes the "self assessment" based strategy.Through the ego experience and evaluation, the communication and evaluation amongchildren, the guidance and evaluation from teachers and partners, it will improve thechildren’s subject consciousness, help them have an objective, accurate, clear understandingof themselves, give full play of their roles in the heterogeneous group and fully experience growth and progress themselves.4."Three-based" breaststroke teaching strategy has improved the children’s learninginterest and autonomous learning ability and increased their learning motivation. The changeof teaching organization form has improved the cooperation of children’s teaching andlearning, promoted the breaststroke teaching effects and the healthy and mental developmentof the children.
