Graduate education is the highest level of education in our educationalstructure,responsible for China’s economic construction and socialdevelopment of training high-quality,high-level creative talents of the historictask.Graduate teaching is the main channel of the graduate education.It is abasic approach to personnel training. Graduate student who undertake the taskof learning, is the main part in the graduate teaching subject. Compared toprimary, secondary school students and college students, graduate students inthe learning process could highlight its subjectivity and initiative. Thus,self-learning becomes the most important way of graduate studying.However, in real situations, many graduate students do not really knowwhat is self-learning and how to learn autonomously. So, I thesis topics asgraduate students autonomous learning strategy, on the basis of analysis ofgraduate independent study of the characterilerstics of the different segmentsof the learning activities to explore graduate independent study of thestrategies to help graduate independent learning.Graduate independent study, which treats graduate students as a main partof study, is that graduate students who under the guidance of teachers in thelearning objectives, learning time, learning environment, learning content andlearning methods, independent analysis, to explore, to practice, to question,and to creat a learning process in order to reach the goal of learning.Therefore, the paper discussed learning objectives, learning time, learningenvironment, learning content and learning methods illastrate the strategies ofgraduate independent studying.To the learning objectives, proposed a strategies of goal setting in self-learning,including specific strategies;considering both inside and outsideand learn according to one’s ability, far and wide combination; to the learningtime, put forward four specific strategies,including self-learning timemanagement strategy, setting goals effectively and timely, wisely compromise,clever use of spare time; to the learning environment, proposed three specificstrategies,including self-learning environment control strategies, refering tocontrol “objects” and control “person”,“learning can be ubiquitous”;to thelearning content, proposed self-learning content selection strategy, based onthree aspects:the knoeledge of the major, respect the individual interests, thedevelopment of various capacities;to the self-learning strategy, including fourspecific strategies:a combination of humility and self-confidence,combination of estensive and intensive learning, combination of theory andpractice,combining of self-assessments and peer assessmentss.Graduate student independent learning is a process to give free rein tograduate student autonomy, initiative and creativity, as long as the strategyused properly, it will be a strong guarantee to the graduate academicsuccessfully and smoothly in entering the society. I hope this study can playto start a discussion with aroused more in-depth study of the scholars ongraduate independent study, and to promote better training of high-leveltalents in China.
