The Ministry of Education issued the new high school biology curriculum standard in July,2003. The four province including Guangdong, Shandong, Hainan, Ningxia begin to test this standard in September,2004. Jiangsu province also began in the autumn of2005. We made some stage summary and spreaded good practice experience of experimental teaching according to investigate the current high school biology teaching situation, understood the school biology experiment course of hardware, software, understood experimental situation of current textbooks and analyzed biological experiment teaching in the middle school of every province. Next, we discussed and reflect some specific problems, then found effective measures to these problems.This can help education workers to understand education curriculum reform and then guide the reform of experimental teaching work to improve students’ biological experimental accomplishment and to accelerate the pace of educational reform.This article mainly focused on the method of investigation, edited questionnaire based on the literatureand interview preparation, investigated the new curriculum of biology experiment teaching in Jiangsu province and then use SPSS statistic software to do scientific statistics analysis about the teacher s’ and student s’ effective questionnaires. According to the results, we elaborated the cause of these reasons based on the analysis of different regions of Jiangsu Province(South of Jiangsu, Middle of Jiangsu, North of Jiangsu) and current situation of different biology experiment teaching of different high school. These reasons including:High school biology experiment and experimental teaching were ignored, the concept of experiment teaching was not consisted with modern education ideas, the mode of experiment teaching was obsolete, the teachers’ continuing education mechanism was not perfect,the teachers’ research ability was poor, experimental teaching research was not enough, the evaluation way of experimental teaching was single,and so on...The author thinked we should explore practical strategy of biology experiment class which was suitable for students’ if we wanted to achieve the goal of biology teaching which was "Enhancing the biological science accomplishment, facing to all students, advocating exploratory study, paying attention to the relationship with real life".
