Experimental teaching is an effective way to cultivate core literacy.Most of the life knowledge acquired by human beings comes from the practice and experiment of living things.Therefore,experimental teaching is the basis of the whole biology teaching,and it can stimulate the interest and enthusiasm of learning biology.It is also conducive to the implementation of the curriculum purpose of the core literacy of the subject,the acquisition and mastery of the concept of life,the formation and training of scientific thinking and scientific inquiry ability,and the recognition and responsibility of social responsibility.However,there are some difficulties in our senior high school biology experiment teaching,which makes it impossible to carry out the experiment teaching normally.Therefore,taking Weifang as an example,the author mainly investigates senior high school teachers and students in the form of questionnaire,and designs teacher questionnaire and student questionnaire according to literature research,interview and observation record results respectively.Teacher questionnaire covers the basic information of the school.The basic information of teachers,the basic conditions of experimental teaching and the situation of experimental teaching,etc.The questionnaire includes students' basic information,subject laboratory conditions,views on experimental teaching,self-evaluation of hands-on skills,and so on.By means of factor analysis and correlation analysis with SPSS software,this paper probes into the problems existing in biology experiment teaching in senior high school,in order to maximize the function of experiment teaching.The investigation shows that the following problems exist in the experimental teaching of biology in Weifang senior high school: backward educational idea,not attached importance to experimental teaching;lack of teachers' professional accomplishment,insufficient ability of teaching research and teaching reform;old-fashioned experimental teaching mode;At the same time,there is a certain correlation between the quality of experimental teaching and the level of school.On the premise of full consideration of the actual situation,the corresponding improvement suggestions after exchanging with the teaching and research staff and the front-line teachers are as follows: renew the educational idea,form the correct understanding about the experimental teaching,improve the level of teachers' professional accomplishment;Plan the experiment teaching as a whole,improve the effective level of experiment teaching,make efficient use of the existing resources and actively open up the extracurricular activities.Resources,etc.In view of the research level and time limit,many details of this study are still flawed,so there are some limitations,which need to be further analyzed.Under the background of the new curriculum reform and the new curriculum standard,educational departments and school leaders should take the lead in adapting to the new situation,carry out the requirements of the new curriculum reform,correct the position of experimental teaching on the ideological level,grasp the true meaning of its value,and renew the relevant teaching concepts.Then there is room for biology teachers to implement,improve experiment and carry out teaching and research,and finally realize the overall improvement of teaching level and efficiency of biology experiment in senior high school.
