Biology is a natural science based on experiments, which are of special significance in the biological science. Therefore, biological experiment teaching has become an important part of biological teaching, making it one of the focuses in the college entrance examinations. Along with the continuous deepening of the reform of the new curriculum, biology test questions in the college entrance examination also shift gradually from knowledge conception to ability conception, paying more attention to the test of the ability of the students in biological experiments. As a result, how to keep up with the requirements of the biology test questions in the college entrance examination and improve students' ability of biology experiments is an urgent problem.The biological experiment test questions in the college entrance examinations(both in the national and Guangdong versions) in recent five years were analized and compared, the knowledge content, forms and score proportion were summed up and the test questions of college entrance examination was cleared. By analyzing the questionnaire on the present situation of high school biological experiment teaching, the results showed a preliminary understanding of the current situation of biological experiment teaching and the students' biological experiment ability. Then through combining this understanding and the tests on biological experiment ability based on the biological experiment test questions in the college entrance examinations, the students' biological experiment ability, the problems and their reasons were discussed, and the evidence for the cultivation of the students' experimental ability was provided.According to the biological experiment test questions in the college entrance examinations(both in the national and Guangdong versions) in recent five years, although their forms of knowledge were different, but they equally pay attention to the examination of students' experimental ability, especially the understanding ability, the ability to get access to information as well as experiment and inquiry ability. At the completion of the questionnaire on the present situation of high school biological experiment teaching and the testing of the students' biological experiment ability, it was found that there was a certain gap between the students experimental ability and the requirements of the biological experiment test questions in the college entrance examinations, because of the old-fashioned ways of biological experiment teaching and the poor ability of the teachers, who cannot relate theory and practice to cultivate the experimental ability of students during the teaching process. Through researching and analyzing, the results suggested that schools should ensure the carrying out of biological experiment teaching, while teachers should thoroughly analyze the biological experiment test questions in the college entrance examinations, the exam outlines as well as teaching theories and ways, so as to relate theory and practice to cultivate the experimental ability of students during the teaching process, and meanwhile, cultivate the experiment thinking of the students. As to the students, they should also think automatically and try to improve the experiment conducted, thus improving their own experimental ability and overall quality.
