Graduate education is the highest level of higher education, which is to provide creative and highly qualified human resources for the development of the state and society. Tutor-master student relationship is the most important and fundamental relationship in Graduate education activities. So a good relationship between the two is an important guarantee to improve the quality of graduate education. The authors found that there are some study spaces about the relationship between tutors and masters from the perspective of graduate students.In this paper, quantitative research methods are used to analyze the status and influencing factors of the tutor-master relationship, and qualitative research methods are used to analyze the outstanding problem of the tutor-master student relationship. According to the survey, we may safely arrive at the following conclusions. The first is that master students are well satisfied with relationship they experienced in this university. The second is that master students’gender and grade have no significant impact on the satisfaction of the tutor-student relationship. The discipline has a significant effect on the satisfaction of financial assistance, showing that Science is better than the Humanities and Social Science, Humanities and Social Science are better than Engineering. The third is that Tutor’academic titles and administrative duties have no significant impact on the satisfaction of the tutor-student relationship. The forth is that these problem conclude four aspects:lack of effective communication and unequal rights between teachers and students, lack of effective mentoring, imperfect management system. The fifth is that by analyzing the influencing factors on the teacher-student relationship, the author found that the tutor’s performance of which the students encounter difficulties and pressures or get achievements, and mentor’s attitude will influence the tutor-master relationship. The effectiveness of the tutor’s guidance, the harvest the masters getting from participating to the research projects and the style of the guidance will have significantly affect on the academic satisfaction, the financial assistance and fairness will have significantly impact on the financial aid satisfaction.Finally, the author discourse the strategies that can guarantee a good relationship between mentors and graduates. What the mentors do are Improving the effectiveness of guidance, strengthening the breadth and depth of research projects, giving the appropriate financial aid and improving their quality. What the graduates do are improving the initiative of learning and research and improving the skills of interaction and communication. From the institutional angle, reform of teacher selection system, optimizing the system of teacher performance assessment, implementing the mentor accountability system and the establishment of graduate rights protection system.
