| In the field of E-learning, Learning management systems in recent yearsdeveloped very rapidly, appeared various types of learning management system. Mostof these systems were based on learning objects as the center, but lack of support forthe learning process. In addition, in the learning process use these systems, because ofthere were no reasonable learner-oriented, often faced the learner didn’t know how tomake choice. Existing learning management system described the learning processwere lack of strict formal definition, not only didn’t have the versatility, and difficultto support the verification and analysis of the correctness. This paper analyzed the IMS LD specification, the Extending the theory ofknowledge spaces and the Petri net modeling technique. Proposed acompetence-oriented learning process model CLPM. The simple color Petri net modelwas the basis theory of learning process modeling with a rigorous formal definition. After that, introduced the concept of competence. Added competence objectives andcompetence state to the learning process. In this paper learning objects, learningenvironment and learning activities were mapped with the competences, and createdthe competence structure to express the relationship between the competences. Thecurrent competence status can or can’t meet the requirements of learning activities, based on it to determine the orientation of the entire learning process. After completedthe definition of CLPM, this paper designed CLPM LMS. The system’s center werelearning activities, based on competence-oriented, graphical Petri net approach to thedesign of the learning process and put forward the concept of active components.Proposed the concept of activity component, and used bus-style to design thearchitecture of activity component. This would both improving the system’s utilityand ensuring the system highly scalable, so as to adapt to the purpose of a richlearning strategy. Finally, this paper gave a simple application example. Analyze the capability ofCLPM decrypting the learning process, competence-based guidance capability, availability and scalability, etc. The Conclusion: CLPM could better complete therigorous formal description of the learning process, competence-oriented waseffective, and have good availability and scalability. |
