Research On Retirement Life Satisfaction And Influential Factors Of Shang Hai Urban Elder

Quality of life of older people is one important sign of the degree of social civilizationand economic development level. To concern and improve the quality of life of olderpersons, then to improve their life satisfaction in their later years, is a necessaryrequirement in the period of building a socialist harmonious society. Improving the livingconditions of older people and their life satisfaction are not only helpful to solve their lifeproblems but also are benifical to social stability.Shanghai took the lead into the aging society in1979, at the end of2010, registeredpopulation of Shanghai city has totally1412.32millions, registered older people including60and above60years old has reached331.02million, accounting for23.4%of the totalpopulation of residence. Elderly population is facing a series of problems in their life,however, social support they can get is so limited, and they are lack of emotional comfort,this has seriously affected retirement life satisfactionof older populaton. The aging in ourcountry is beyond the development of economic and social, to improving retirement lifesatifactin of older population will be limited by economic base and development degree ofsociety, therefore, we must do some deep study and researchs about retirement lifesatisfaction situation and it’ influential factors of uran older people in order to make fulluse of limit resource for older people, then we can take targeted measures to adjust and fixup different aging resources according to comeout to make sure limited aging resourcesplay maximize effectiveness,let older people share the achievement of social development.This study are built on aging the analysis of Shanghai’s grim situation of the socialold-age and elderly support system’defects, preliminary reading for literatures laid goodtheoretical foundation for this study. This study choose5distict middle aging level fromshanghai and do survey, and exploit descriptive statistics, multiple regression analysis andprincipal component analysis and other methods to analyze survey data,finally we foundthat elderly individuals factors, children, community care service factors and the state ofpension and elderly services, protection of the interests are the most important factors affecting older people’retirement life satisfaction, and draw relevant size between somefactors and retirement life satifaction. Besides that, author also meaning hierarchy of needstheory and the theory of diminishing marginal utility and the kano model to illustrate thesymmetry between demand and supply of pension services play important role inenhancing elderly’s retirement life satisfaction. At the end, from the elderly family,community service and national pension and social level and the elderly in four areasproposed to enhance the elderly’s retirement life satisfaction measures.The unique in this study is that we contemporarily invstigate the family, communitycare service, government and community level factors, and older people’s self factorswhich have made influfences to retirement life satifaction，at the same time, and for thefirst time that the principal component analysis is used in the elderly study of lifesatisfaction, retirement life satisfaction of older persons, factors were classified andconducted according to importance. Also investigating the current needs of the elderly forthe elderly care service and the most urgent care service is more benifcial toprioritize theallocation of resources endowment.
